Deerfield Inn

Deerfield Inn was nice. The overnight attendants were really nice and accommodating. I had to switch rooms because someone had messed up the AC in my first room but other than that it was great. The bed was huge and comfortable. The bathrooms were nice too. I would definitely stay again.

I apologize about my previously posted review I wrote a few weeks ago. I removed it and i'm replacing it with an honest review. The last review was posted out of anger , frustration and passive immaturity. I have to remember to think before I speak/ act sometimes but were all human. I want to say thanks to the lady I believe is named Charlie? The lady who works the dayshift in the office. She is actually amazing and has a very welcoming demeanor. I cant help but to keep coming back for her. I have had my differences with her over a few years with and without my ex girlfriend. But She still talks to me when I come to rent a room and makes sure I have everything I need. I didnt mean to upset you Charlie I just want you to smile and be happy. I actually look forward to seeing you when I need to rent a room.. but I never meant to disrespect you or your family working there Or your location. I respect your wishes that you never want me back but I hope one day You will allow me to return and forgiveness for my wrongs.If not ill accept and respect your decision. Thank you for your years of great service. Charlie, Stephanie, and of Course . Mr. Sonny and his Wife. Its a difficult location and I commend your efforts ,patience, and tolerance for guests. I wish you all well and I recommend to anyone to get a room here if anywhere. Thank you again. I hope to see you in the future. God bless. All we need is to love one another....

The room smelled good, looked good and felt good! I was scared of reviews of all three downtown hotels, but it turned out Deerfield was perfectly fine. I booked a non-smoking, and the room (#103) smelled great! Very comfortable beds. And plenty of space for our bikes (we took the rail-trail from Columbus). No amenities, but you know that going in. Actually the fridge worked fine so we just picked up some fruit n yogurts from nearby Kroger the night before. All in all, much better than I expected. WARNING: their default booking is for a smoking room, but it doesn’t say so. I almost selected one by accident before I saw “non-smoking” below. That might explain the reviewer who was sure he didn’t select a smoking room.

For the most part it's a pretty quiet place. Staff was very friendly. Rooms weren't bad for the price. It looked like they did some updating to the place which was nice. Best thing was no bugs!! That's always my worst fear Would return again.

The hotel is small, only 20 rooms is my guess. The outside could use some updating and the office should be moved to the front of the building, not the back; makes it really seem sketchy. Parking is really strange, if you drive smaller vehicles there is enough space for one per room; but larger vehicle almost always have to park in the vacant lot adjacent to the hotel. However, the staff was friendly, answered all our questions, and provided good directions for a place to eat. The room was very clean; the AC worked well, great water pressure and really hot water in the shower. I would stay here again.

Lovely establishment! There were a few tiny issues, but the gal in the office was extremely friendly and was more than willing to help. My sister and I biked the Ohio to Erie trail, and we were able to easily fit our bikes in the ground room. I'd absolutely stay here again!

Basic motel. You can save money here, but you get what you pay for. The bed was fine, the room was quiet and it even had a microwave and frig. I couldn't get the WiFi to work, but perhaps their router needed a reboot. Breakfast was basic but it again it saves money.

It's the perfect location for any function or over night.. Rooms are spacious and updated.. you have cable and clean room with a coffee pot! How nice.... it's close to a lot of nice dining as well... Great place to stay.....
